This topic is close to our hearts as Jonah's Grandpa was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in fall of 2024, and he battled like a true champ until early 2026. We spent every moment possible together ensuring Jonah could have as many memories as we could create. He is greatly missed every day. We honor his memory every day and with this 5k.
All of the funds raised by the Challengers support cancer patient care, research, community outreach, or education and training at The University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center in Albuquerque.
Participants are called “Challengers” because in addition to completing our own personal Challenge, we challenge cancer together in our efforts on September 26, 2026. Cancer affects us all, so we are “all in” to fight cancer together.
