Lobo Cancer Challenge 2018

Team Petranovich

We joined the Lobo Cancer Challenge to fight cancer together. We're committed to raising funds to help people facing cancer in our community. Every dollar we raise — 100 percent of it! — goes to cancer research and cancer patient care at The University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center.

We hope you will join us in helping to "kick cancer's butt" by supporting our team as we take to the bike trail on September 8th.  We will be riding for the Gynecological Oncology Department as a very small way of thanking them for being with us on our family's cancer journey.  We set a goal of $2,000.00, but we are closing in on that so let's keep going to hit $5,000 or more!  We are in this as a family but couldn't have gotten through the past year and a half without the help of our large support team of family and friends.

Thanks for being with us for the Lobo Cancer Challenge.  Every donation gets us closer to finding a cure for EVERY cancer.  The UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center is a jewel in New Mexico's crown and we hope you will help us support their great research, patient care and educational mission.

Did you know that…

  • The UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center is the only cancer center in our state with designation from the National Cancer Institute — making it a Comprehensive center among the top 3% in the country.
  • The UNM Cancer Center offers 175 clinical trials — making the latest and most advanced treatments available to all New Mexicans.
  • The UNM Cancer Center’s 130 board-certified oncology (cancer) doctors include cancer surgeons in every specialty, adult and pediatric hematologists/medical oncologists, gynecologic oncologists, and radiation oncologists.
  • Every patient gets a personalized treatment plan that their team of doctors creates just for them.
Thanks for pitching in!
