Lobo Cancer Challenge 2019

So Many Reasons to Ride...
So Many Reasons to Ride...

New Mexico Spokettes

We're pleased to join the Lobo Cancer Challenge for the third consecutive year to fight cancer together.  It's been a hard week.  Our much loved  teammate, Kathy Thompson, passed away from a cancerous tumor.  Please help us fight this terrible disease.  We will be riding in memory of Kathy and in honor of our BEST team supporter, Kyle Sager, who is dealing with cancer.   Laura is providing a tank or t-shirt that includes "Riding for Kathy and Kyle" to the first 25 people to join the Spokettes Lobo Cancer Challenge team or donate $50 or more to the team. We're committed to raising funds to help people facing cancer in our community. Every dollar we raise  100% — goes to cancer research and cancer patient care at:

The UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center, which...

  • is the only cancer center in our state with designation from the National Cancer Institute — making it a Comprehensive center among the top 3% in the country.
  • offers 175 clinical trials — making the latest and most advanced treatments available to all New Mexicans.
  • has 130 board-certified oncology (cancer) doctors including cancer surgeons in every specialty: adult and pediatric hematologists, medical oncologists, gynecologic oncologists, and radiation oncologists.
  • offers every patient a personalized treatment plan that their team of doctors creates just for them.
Thanks for helping us make a difference!
