I'm inviting you to join in me in the Lobo Cancer Challenge this year on September 14, 2019. I will be riding 25 miles in memory of not only both my mother, Lillian (Lewis) Solis, RN and uncle, Ervin Lewis, MD who both fought cancer bravely, but for all who have been affected by cancer. All funds raised will go directly toward Women's Cancer Research for gynecologic cancers. I chose this one specifically because my mother was diagnosed with Stage III Primary Peritoneal Carcinoma (PPC) in May 2014. She fought fearlessly and fiercely for several years, and when she grew tired, my family and I fought for her until her passing on February 4, 2018.
Riding 25 miles will be bittersweet, but as I have since their passing, I will carry both my mother's love and my uncle's passion for nature with me as I have on every bike ride, every run, every hike... every day.
To show I'm all about fighting cancer and supporting research in it, I've donated $100.00 towards my own goal. Your donation (even a $1.00) and support will not go unrecognized. 100% of donations go toward cancer patients and research. Let's kick some cancer booty together!

Join me in the Lobo Cancer Challenge. We are an incredible community of riders, runners, walkers and virtual challengers who are passionate about fighting cancer.
Won’t you help me in this fight? Every single dollar helps me towards my fundraising goal, and it stays right here to help people in New Mexico.
ALL of the funds raised by the Challenge — 100% — support cancer patient care, research, community outreach, and education and training at The University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Participants commit to bicycle rides or a 5K run/walk held on September 14, 2019. Cancer affects us all, so we are “all in” to fight cancer together.
I truly appreciate your support!
